What skills do you feel it takes to be a successful wedding and event planner?
Organization is number one. Events are large puzzles – it’s important to be able to see each piece in order to complete the entire puzzle or event. Also problem solving skills, quick thinking and client understanding – we need to be able to focus on who the event is for and the purpose of it.
What’s your biggest goal in life right now?
To continue to utilize and grow my skills as a wedding and event designer with Willow and Sage Catering and work hard to be a role model for my daughters.
When not working, what do you love to do?
I love to spend time with my friends and family, run, read, and watch competition cooking shows.
Besides your professional talent, do you have any personal talents?
When I was in 4th grade I wanted to learn to juggle so I locked myself in my bedroom for a week and wouldn’t come out until I could do it. And now I can!
